The Story of The Baobab Organics
Growing up in Africa, being raised by her grandmother, Khady didn't have the resources to purchase skin or haircare. Yet all the women and men around her had glowing skin. She never paid any attention to that until she moved to New York and saw how extensive the beauty products were. She was amazed at how many products were on the market to acheive great hair and skin. She started paying attention to the ingredients and spent hours trying to find products that did not contain harsh chemicals. Without much success, she started using oils and butters from her hometown, Senegal and adding other natural ingredients found in her kitchen.As more consumers are gearing towards environmentally- friendly, clean and organic products that includes skin and haircare Baobab Organics was created to fill the demand by going by to our roots. At Baobab Organics, our goal is to provide nature and nurture to women, men and kids in healing their hair and skin from within. We want to serve as a reminder to all communities that the greatest healing is provided from the earth and that we can be beautiful using its natural resources.
